Gridlock Festival is a new, outdoor tented festival taking place on the grounds of Spatz Theatre/Citadel High School. in Halifax, NS. The event's bar partner is Stillwell, who will serve up East Coast craft beer, local wine, and spirits. The festival grounds will also feature a food truck alley and provide additional space for pop-up retail vendors.
In 2006, singer-songwriter Nils Edenloff, percussionist Paul Banwatt, and multi-instrumentalistAmy Cole came together to release their debut, self-titled EP as The Rural Alberta Advantage. The ensuing years have brought two full-length albums, two Juno Award nominations (Best New Group, Video of the Year), and a Long List nomination for the Polaris Music Prize. It was through all of this that their latest album, Mended With Gold, took shape.
Waxahatchee is the solo project of American singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield. The name of her solo musical project comes from a creek not far from her childhood home in Alabama, and seems to represent both where she came from and where she’s going. Waxahatchee’s latest record, Ivy Tripp, drifts confidently from its predecessors and brings forth a more informed and powerful recognition of where Crutchfield has currently found herself.
Raised in Portland, Oregon, Matt Braunger has been a headlining comedian since 2007. With an extensive list of television credits including MadTV and NBC's Up All Night, Braugner also won the 2008 “Best Of The Fest” at the inaugural Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, was listed inVariety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch in 2009, and in Comedy Central’s Hot 9 in ’09 list.

Solids take inspiration from alt-rock’s early-’90s heyday. Formed by Xavier Germain-Poitras(guitar) and Louis Guillemette (drums), the duo has understood that melody never shines as much as when it is forced to fight its way through many layers of distortion and feedback effects.
