Evolve Festival Tickets On Sale NOW - PLUS Thursday Night Addition w/ Performances by Skratch Bastid & Tommy Knuckles!
As the snow begins to melt and temperatures slowly start to rise, so does everyone's spirits. Talk of summer plans are everywhere - especially when it comes to one of our favourite outdoor festivals EVOLVE.
After months of avid festival goers begging and pleading, Evolve finally announced yesterday afternoon that super early bird tickets were on sale, via the festival's website. In a mere 24 hours - they were SOLD OUT!Currently, regular early bird tickets are available for a slick $173.50 and with a line-up already boasting some serious talent, it's set to be worth every penny.
Evolve has been steadily giving us line-up teasers via all social platforms, but no official line-up has yet to be revealed. Check out the line up teasers below.
Not only is Evolve celebrating their Sweet 16th Birthday in 2015, they are also celebrating their first 4 day festival! This year the festival will kick off a day early, in the spirit of the ever popular Pre-Evolve Parking Lot Party, with a bit of a twist.
"For the first time, Evolve 2015 will be a 4-day festival! There’s always been an unofficial Thursday night party at Evolve – last year over 1000 people arrived on Thursday night, but local officials were never too happy about it, citing public safety and traffic concerns. Fair enough.
So this year we’ve worked with the RCMP,
the Fire Chief and Antigonish County Council and we’ve expanded the
weekend to include some serious Thursday night fun!
A few quick notes about Thursday…
The Evolve grounds will be partially open Thursday night. We will be parking cars and opening a stage in the parking lot. Our goal is to preserve the Thursday night vibe of “The People’s Parking Lot.”

Entertainment will include sets by Skratch Bastid and Tommy Knuckles! (And probably others – more info soon)
Thursday night is not included in the Evolve Weekend Pass. Since not everyone can make it, we decided it should be a separate ticket. Thursday night will be $25 AT THE GATE.
And one more thing – the good people on Antigonish County Council have granted our request to be exempt from the county noise by-law! This means that – for those who can make it – we’ll be dancing all night!
So there you have it. If you can make it, join us Thursday night for the first night of the best weekend of the summer."

An interesting twist - and a great one!
Please note that with the extra date added, there is to be no pre - pre evolve party on the 8th.
The extra night on the 9th is to rid of the public safety and traffic concerns noted by local officials last year, so please, just wait till Thursday - and party safely.The Evolve Music and Awareness Festival is set for July 9th - 12th 2015
