Welcome back!

We've been gone for a little while now, but we're back up and running for the new year, with a bunch of new things for your eyes and ears!

First up, the Noisography blog got a facelift over the holidays!
Yup, we're lookin' fresh and clean.
We've been sporting the same dark look for the past couple of years and thought it was about time we brightened it up again! The site will still be undergoing some small changes over the next little bit, fixing up any bugs and adding a few new features here and there, but it shouldn't be anything to disrupt your view.
Let us know what you think about the new design and if you're experiencing any technical difficulties.

Second, we've added a new monthly playlist to the site, which will feature our favourite East Coast bands, as well as other notable Canadian artists. East Coast NOISE** will also featured one international artist on each playlist. This months track listing is below.

ECN P-01
East Coast Noise - Playlist 01 (Feb 2015)

Rich Aucoin - Four More Years (Nova Scotia)
Scientists of Sound - Electric Scissors (Nova Scotia)
Force Fields - Fallonsscraph (New Brunswick)
Vasa - Not Now But Soon (INTERNATIONAL SPOTLIGHT - Scotland)
Dockyard Boxer - Wide Asleep (Nova Scotia)
Glory Glory - Take My Time (Nova Scotia)
The Rural Alberta Advantage - On The Rocks (Ontario)
Ben Caplan - Seed Of Love (Nova Scotia)

**If your band would like to be featured on East Coast Noise, email us your Sound Cloud link to noisography@gmail.com

Another new feature to Noisography is the CrashINN.

We developed the CrashINN as an accommodation alternative for bands and artists, to save them a bit of money while on the road.

Hotels are expensive, hostels are not always comfortable/secure and sleeping on the floor isn't really desired by anyone - so come crash with us and have the best of both worlds.

Check out the digs and options available HERE.

We also have an event coming up!

Lastly, we just wanted to give you a heads up, that yes we are STILL working on some things from 2014. Noisography is run completely by volunteers, who put their own time and money into each project or event, in order to promote the music we love. We all have full time jobs, family commitments and lives outside Noisography, so we ask that you be patient with us while we continue to work on bringing you some great new footage!

In the next coming weeks, we hope to have a new crew of volunteers to help shed some light on the talent the East Coast has to offer! So stay tuned!

In the meantime, check out this interview we did with the one and only Fred Penner at the 2014 Evolve Festival and get stoked for upcoming summer fun!
