With the recent announcement of his hiatus from season 5 of the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, Northern Irish actor Kristian Nairn, best-known as Hodor, will bring his DJ tour Rave of Thrones to the Marquee Ballroom in Halifax on Saturday, Nov. 8, while visiting the city as one of Hal-Con's headline guests.
A staple in the Belfast club scene for years prior to becoming an actor, Nairn specializes in deep house. He announced a tour of Australia earlier this summer and will perform throughout the United States prior to his Halifax date. Game of Thrones-themed dress is encouraged but not required. No sharp objects allowed.
Tickets are $24.99 in advance and $27.99 day of show (including tax and service charge) and go on sale this Friday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at the etixnow kiosk in Bubba Ray’s Sports Bar and online at www.sonicconcerts.com. This show is restricted to ages 19+ with VALID ID. Doors open at 9 p.m.
