Pitchfork premiered the track, and said it “features plenty of tension and warped-production sonics that have since become VanGaalen's calling card.”

Pre-orders of the album through the Flemish Eye store will include a booklet of original artwork by Chad featuring crazy frisbee moves. Shrink Dust, featuring the songs “Where Are You?” and “Monster,” was produced by Chad VanGaalen at his Yoko Eno home studio in Calgary, Alberta.
