Halifax post-rock quintet Kuato has released a video for "Groundwork," the lead single from their anticipated forthcoming debut album, The Great Upheaval (Acadian Embassy). Watch the video HERE.

True to form, "Groundwork" finds the band weaving together intricate movements, emotive melodies and psychedlic doom to sculpt a life-like sonic narrative. The song is now available as a digital download or in physical form on a limited edition red cassette that also features "Battle of Bloody Creek," another preview track from The Great Upheaval. 

Inspired by the brutal 18th Century expulsion of the Acadians from Nova Scotia, The Great Upheaval is scheduled for release in Spring 2014.
