It’s mere seconds into a typical track by The Motorleague that listeners realize what they’re in for. Be it a blistering single-string guitar riff or a smash to the snare drum, the band delivers its punk-influenced hard rock with urgency. Their new album Acknowledge, Acknowledge features a flurry of high-energy, riff-anchored rock. The release of the LP also marks a new beginning for the band. Joining lead vocalist/guitarist/primary songwriter Don Levandier is Shawn Chaisson (bass/vocals),Francis Landry (drums), and Nathan Jones (guitar/vocals).
The band recently released their new video for "Failsafes." The clip pays homage to classic computer games including Doom, The Oregon Trail, Police Quest, and....well, you'll have to guess the rest in the Vintage Gaming Quiz. Watch the video and take the quiz here: http://www.themotorleague.ca/failsafes/The first single from Acknowledge, Acknowledge, "North America," is currently in the Top 30 on the Canadian Active Rock charts and in rotation on MuchLoud.
