For the eighth year running, the Halifax Pop Explosion (HPX) is proud to present an educational music and culture conference. Taking place at The Atlantica Hotel (1980 Robie Street) on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26, Pop!Talks brings together industry veterans and fresh-faced upstarts for two days of sessions and events. For the first time ever, all HPX wristband and passholders have access to Pop!Talks. 

 

This year's sessions cover everything from artist management to crowd sourcing, open businesses to embracing failure, and religion to mental health. The line-up of topics and speakers includes:

• In addition to the sessions, Pop!Talks also offers the Mixology Mixer networking event and an EDM/DJ workshop featuring DJ TWoo, Snug, KDZ, Andrew Duke and more. Both events take place on Friday, October 25th. Pre-registration is required for the EDM/DJ workshop.
