NEWS: Evolve Festival enjoys record setting advance ticket sales - starts this Friday!

Since it started 14 years ago, the Evolve Festival has become a rite of passage for twentysomething East Coasters and festival road-trippers across Canada & the eastern U.S. It’s a one-of-a-kind, hands-on living experience that goes far beyond merely being another summer weekend of incredible live music and DJs -- it’s a mind, body and soul experience -- there’s the spectacular and inspiring Nova Scotia scenery, delicious and nourishing food, fireworks and multimedia, and our pride and joy Awareness Village with workshops such as yoga & healing arts (this year headlined by Super-Conscious Relaxation Yoga with Reveen, the world-famous hypnotist and son of The Great Reveen), culinary arts, craft-making and so much more to connect people to conscious and sustainable living all year-round.
This year, Evolve kicks it up a notch with six stages, the most talent we’ve ever assembled with Australian wonder Xavier Rudd leading
the way, and a commitment to taking the overall festival experience to
brand new heights. We’ve already shattered our previous record for
advance sales, and the Evolve community is absolutely buzzing with
anticipation on our social networks. And we can’t wait to welcome the
world to Antigonish!

Evolve Festival 2013 touches down on weekend of July 19-21,
in the spectacular rolling oceanside hills of Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
And once again, it’s shaping up to do justice to its reputation as one
of the can’t-miss events of the North American outdoor festival season.
Evolve 2013 will showcase over 100 international & Canadian artists
on five stages, including: iconic Australian multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd, Canada’s most acclaimed hip-hop artist Classified, Toronto-based raptronica sensations Keys N Krates, 4-turntable funk mashup masters The Funk Hunters, aboriginal electronic pioneers A Tribe Called Red, and Vancouver’s Juno-nominated funk ambassadors Five Alarm Funk.
The
Evolve Music and Awareness Festival is an annual 3-day summer
celebration of music, culture, and social awareness. From its humble
beginnings in 2000 as a grassroots music and awareness festival
featuring local bands, the festival has grown to become one of the
finest outdoor festivals in the world -- with performers from around the
globe, workshops that inform spectators about social issues and
environmental awareness, and an overall commitment to enhancing personal
and community well-being. CBC Radio 3 named it Canada’s #1 Festival for
2010, and U.S-based Outside Magazine has distinguished Evolve as one of its Top 10 Outdoor Festivals.
Evolve is an
immersive weekend music and camping experience. With paid festival
admission, wristband-wearers are invited to free camping on soft grass
in designated General and Family Camping areas. All camping is a short
walk from the stages and parking areas and will offer full-service
facilities, including port-a-johns, drinking water, and sink stations.
More than just a great music festival, Evolve also offers attendees an
amazing range of activities and workshops -- to nourish the mind, body
and soul and give thousands of festival-goers the inspiration they need
to keep the true spirit of Evolve alive in communities across Canada and
the world.
