BATHORY TRIBUTE
Gus' Pub & Grill - $6 - 10pm

feat. VERSIFIST covering classics from the first four BATHORY albums. VERSIFIST is a new band still in the writing stages. While getting things going with original material the band jammed on black metal classics such as BESTIAL WARLUST, early GORGOROTH and of course, early BATHORY. The obsession got out of control and soon there was a full set of early BATHORY material. This will be performed on the anniversary of mastermind QUORTHON's death, JUNE 7th.

The show will be opened with sets by BURNT CHURCH and SPEW to get the blood boiling.

The Bastid has become one of Canada’s most in-demand DJs and respected producers but don’t think it happened overnight. From his humble beginnings a decade ago as a teenager in Halifax- pumping out mixtapes from his bedroom and earning a loyal following already back then- he slowly spread his skills first at DJ competitions like DMC, ITF, and Scribble Jam and now around Canada and the world as a widely recognized go-to guy for party-rocking. The illest redhead on turntables has since gone viral.
