NEWS: Gloryhound To Open For Deep Purple On Atlantic Canada Dates of "Smoke On The Nation Tour"
Paul Mercs Concerts is pleased to announce Gloryhound as the opening act for Deep Purple on the Atlantic dates of the Smoke on the Nation Tour, Canada 2012.

Hailing from Halifax, Gloryhound is comprised of Evan Meisner (vocals), David Casey (guitar), Shaun Hanlon (drums) and Jeremy MacPherson (bass). Their recently released EP, Electric Dusk has received rave reviews from regional and national media. The EP title track and current single, “Electric Dusk” sits at #15 on the Mediabase Active Rock charts and at #33 on the BDS Neilson Billboard Canadian Rock charts.
In addition to the media attention, Gloryhound was nominated for Rock Recording and Group Recording of the Year for the 2011 Music Nova Scotia Awards, performing both an official showcase and a performance at the Gala Awards show during Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week.
