NEWS: SONIC CONCERTS presents CLASSIFIED with special guests ROYCE DA 5'9 & SHAD in Halifax, Nov. 10
(Halifax, NS) – After a huge performance at Z103’s Summer Rush, platinum-selling hip-hop artist Classified will return home to for a headlining show at the Halifax Forum’s Multi-Purpose Centre on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. Special guests include Royce da 5’9 and Shad.
Classified’s latest release Handshakes and Middle Fingers is the follow up to JUNO nominated and the highest selling record of his career, Self-Explanatory. The first single "That Ain't Classy" is certified Gold in Canada and the video received over half a million views on YouTube and the 2011 MuchMusic Video Award for MuchVibe Hip Hop Video of the Year.
With 15 new tracks, Handshakes and Middle Fingers includes a collaboration with Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy on “The Sweetest Hangover” and Joe Budden.

Royce da 5’9 released Success is Certain on August 9 and it debuted at number 25 on Billboard. The album includes guest performances from Eminem, Joe Budden, Kid Vishis and Travis Barker. Royce da 5'9 is one half of Bad Meets Evil with Eminem. Their recently released EP Hell: The Sequel debuted at number one on Billboard and has already gone platinum. The single "Lighters" featuring Bruno Mars is top 5 at radio in North America.
Shad’s third full-length release TSOL hit stores in 2010 and took home the 2011 JUNO Award for Rap Recording of the Year. The album was also shortlisted for the prestigious 2010 Polaris Music Prize.
