Godsmack & Sevendust head to Halifax Oct. 16th w/ special guests The Motorleague.

On October 16th, multi-platnium heavy hitters, Godsmack as well as genre partners Sevendust hit Canada's east coast as part of their 1000HP Fall Tour.

With both bands recently releasing new records, hopefully the show (which is at the Scotia Bank Center) will be a nice mixture of music spanning their nearly 20 year careers.

Godsmack's, 1000hp, was released on August 5, 2014, following the band's 2010 gold-selling album The Oracle.

“On this record, we wanted to return to the roots of Boston and the streets of our hometown,” affirms Sully. “It was about going back to basics. You get a certain feeling seeing the city’s skyline or walking through Southie. I thought it was time to take it back to where we began. That’s the theme of this album.”  - Robbie Merrill

Sevendust's Kill The Flaw, was recently released on October 2nd 2015 and is the bands the eleventh studio album.
You can check out some pretty great Making Of videos on the band's youtube channel.

Local support for the east coast dates include heavy rockers The Motorleague, from Moncton, New Brunswick.
