Teenage Kicks have been spending their fall on the open road on a Canadian tour that will culminate with a stop in Halifax later this month for Halifax Pop Explosion! But the buck doesn’t stop there! They have just announced that they will be joining The Ataris on their upcoming “You Call the Shots” North American Tour in November and December. In support of their current album, Spoils Of Youth, Teenage Kicks will join The Ataris for 27 shows, including Canadian stops in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. Tickets will go on sale this Friday (October 3) at 10am across Canada. Be sure to catch the band this fall in a city near you.

Tour details are listed below and Spoils of Youth is available now on their website.

The group also recently premiered their new video for their current single S#*t Eater on Exclaim.ca. Check it out as a bunch of hooligans get up to a slew of shenanigans in the video, shot by Toronto’s Adrian Vieni (Wood & Wires). Their new album, Spoils of Youth, continues to receive rave reviews since its release in Canada on April 29th (Resolute Music / Universal Music Canada).

Playing in bands together was inevitable for brothers Peter and Jeff van Helvoort, as there were few like-minded musicians in the small town where they grew up. As a result, people began to see a lasting connection between the two that has persisted from the first band they formed together 10 years ago, to present day Teenage Kicks, but has never been as apparent as it is on the group’s debut full-length. Spoils of Youth represents the van Helvoorts’ continued aspiration to produce music that is true to themselves and to the music they’ve always loved; songs rife with honesty, integrity, and truth.
