Rich Aucoin prepares to bring his internationally acclaimed live show on the road in support of his highly anticipated new album Ephemeral. “It's astounding how well he can break down the barriers between performer and fans, creating one of the most exciting and interactive live shows out there,” noted Exclaim. “It’s pretty much impossible to remain indifferent when faced with his joie de vivre and contagious energy.” The Halifax-born artist will be performing in Halifax during Halifax Pop Explosion for what promises to be a very special show.
Following the release of the “Are You Experiencing?” video and the single “Want To Believe,” Rich Aucoin recently shared the video for album track “Yelling In Sleep.” The animated video for “Yelling In Sleep” was directed by Canadian Joel MacKenzie and was recently awarded Best Music Video at Animation Block Party 2014, in Brooklyn.

“Yelling In Sleep,” “Want To Believe” and Are You Experiencing?” are from Rich’s sophomore effort, Ephemeral, out in Canada via Bonsound. Ephemeral is also available in the USA via Young Enthusiastic Americans and in France via Platinum Records.
Produced by Rich and his drummer, Joel Waddell and mixed by some heavy-weights including Mick Guzauski
(Daft Punk / Random Access Memories), this second album offers 10
energetic pop songs with gang vocal shouted choruses of size up to 20
000 people. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, the lyrics explore universal themes such as the ephemerality of human existence, solitude and the importance of relationships.
