SappyFest announces SappyForever book tour featuring Shotgun & Jaybird reunion and initial details of SappyFest 9

To celebrate the release of their coffee table book SappyForever, SappyFest has announced a seven-city book tour that features performances from artists such as Julie Doiron, Shotgun Jimmie, Michael Feuerstack, and Jon McKiel. The Toronto date sees a very special Shotgun & Jaybird reunion featuring Shotgun Jimmie and Frederick Squire.

Clocking in at 252 pages, SappyForever is a retrospective tome that includes photos, essays, and other memories from SappyFest’s eight-year history in Sackville, New Brunswick. The books will be on sale at each show, as well as other SappyFest merchandise including t-shirts, mugs, posters, and passes to this year’s festival.

SappyFest has also named The Constantines as the first act confirmed for their 2014 festival. This year's festival takes place August 1st to 3rd in Sackville, New Brunswick.  
A limited amount of early-bird passes were released, but are now sold out.
