As part of their North American tour, American rock band, ALICE IN CHAINS will perform at Casino New Brunswick’s Event Centre on August 26 and at the Halifax Metro Centre on August 27. Both shows begin at 8 p.m. Special guest is The Pack A.D.

ALICE IN CHAINS is touring in support of Grammy-nominated album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, which entered Billboard’s Top 200 Chart at No. 2 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, Hard Rock Albums Chart and iTunes Rock Album Chart. The album’s first two singles, “Stone” and “Hollow,” both hit No. 1 on the rock charts, with their companion videos racking up more than 5 million combined YouTube views.

In other words, it’s business as usual for this multi-platinum-selling rock band.

Rolling Stone gave The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here three stars, as did USA Today, who praised it as an album of “undeniable power.” Spin called it “an assured, diverse, heated record with galvanized hooks,” Pitchfork said it’s “as insistent as [1992’s landmark album] Dirt,” and the Seattle Times wrote, “Jerry Cantrell, William DuVall, Mike Inez and Sean Kinney continue to defy expectations” and that “Alice In Chains is better than ever.”

Over the course of their remarkable career, ALICE IN CHAINS has garnered multiple Grammy nominations, sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and amassed a diehard international fanbase whose members number in the millions. Alongside Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, ALICE IN CHAINS were one of the Big Four to emerge from Seattle in the 1990s and went on to change the sound of modern rock.

ALICE IN CHAINS remain one of the most successful and influential American rock bands of all time.
