Voted two of Halifax's Best Bands to Enjoy Quietly, Acres and Acres and Quiet Parade team up for a special performance in Halifax, NS at The Round Church (2222 Brunswick St.) on November 23, 2013.

Earning a Recording of the Year ECMA nomination for their debut album, All Nations, Acres and Acres combine lush soundscapes with a back-to-basics approach to folk music. Their sophomore record, Truth & Sky, was praised by the CBC for its "beautiful arrangement[s]" and "stirring and graceful" vocals. The band has garnered a reputation for their intimate shows including a sold-out CD release show at All Nations Church last year.

Quiet Parade taps into its core of introspective and honest songs to present a selection of material that stirs up long-standing ghosts, lingering memories and a glimmer of hope for better days. Their most recent album, Old Haunts, has been lauded for it's "beauty shrouded in a little fog" (Bob Mersereau, CBC) and has earned the band two Music Nova Scotia Award nominations this year for Group Recording of the Year and Alternative Recording of the Year.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Advance tickets are available online HERE, at www.acadianembassy.com or www.aaacres.com
Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 7:30pm.
