NEWS: The Famines Announce Canadian Dates and Merch Table Wares

Press release provided by Pigeon Row

Canadian garage rock duo The Famines will embark on a tour of central and eastern Canada in late October. As with all Famines tours, the shows will not only feature explosive live performances, but also a selection of the band’s extensive catalogue of craft recordings and art. Featured items for this tour include a new CD version of The Complete Collected Singles 2008-2011 and an art book by the band’s singer and guitarist entitled B&W Illustrations by Raymond Biesinger. They will also be giving away the last paper copies of their epic How to Book a Maybe Successful Tour for a Band that Hasn't Received Hype From Pitchfork, Etc. pamphlet. Copies are not expected to last through all the dates, but in late October DIY champions Weird Canada will be publishing the entire text online for those who missed out on the real thing. The Famines 2013 fall tour gets started in Ottawa on Wednesday, October 23rd.
