On August 14th 2013, the Halifax Pop Explosion invited us to take a ride on their brand new festival bus, which will provide free transportation between venues, for wristband holders, at this years festival.

Halifax Pop Explosion confirms Japandroids, The Walkmen, Wavves, Killer Mike, Action Bronson and Hannah Georgas for 2013 lineup


Halifax Pop Explosion has announced the headliners and lineup for its 2013 festival, including Japandroids, The Walkmen, Wavves, Killer Mike, Action Bronson, and Hannah Georgas. Offering more comedy programming this year, the festival also features performances from renowned comedians Brian Posehn and Todd Barry.

Halifax Pop Explosion (HPX) is Music. Digital. Culture. Taking place from October 22nd to 26th, the international festival presents 200 bands in 20 venues over five days to 22,000 fans and industry delegates from around the world.

Acts performing at this year's festvial include:

HPX 2013 wristbands and passes are on sale now. The festival has put together early bird rates and bonus packages for those who make their purchase by August 30th. The bonus package includes an exclusive screen-printed HPX 2013 poster and access to the Deezer Early Bird Concert featuring Chad VanGaalen. Tickets cannot be purchased for this show. Admittance is only guaranteed to those with early bird passes and wristbands. The various types of wristbands and passes are as follows.
