In preparation for his In The Nighttime album release show next Thursday, May 9 at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, David Myles has announced that he will be joined by special guests, including internationally renowned opera diva, Measha Brueggergosman.

Winner of the 2008 JUNO Award for Classical Album of the Year, Brueggergosman is a critically-acclaimed soprano hailing from Myles’ home town of Fredericton. The two collaborated on her single “Whole to My Half.” Of the album release, she says, “I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

After a successful hosting gig at the East Coast Music Awards gala in March, Myles has had a busy few months with his Classified collaboration “Inner Ninja” taking home the 2013 JUNO Award for Rap Recording of the Year and the single going double platinum. His own album In The Nighttime is due out May 14 and the first single “How’d I Ever Love You” is gaining traction across the country. After the album release show, Myles is heading off to the US to support “Inner Ninja” with Classified.

Myles will perform two sets, accompanied by his band consisting of Kyle Cunjak, Alan Jeffries, Joshua Van Tassel and Kim Dunn.

Tickets are $26.50 in advance and $31.50 day of show (including tax and CIF) and are on sale now at the Dalhousie Arts Centre box office, by phone at 494-3820 and online at www.sonicconcerts.com
