In-Flight Safety has broken two years of silence with "Destroy." As the first single from their long-awaited new album (release date TBA), it's the band's most visceral offering to date. Working with Gus van Go (The Stills, Hollerado, Priestess), they have layered floating vocals over a pounding rhythm section while infusing interweaving and smashed out guitar parts.

"Destroy" is In-Flight Safety's first offering since 2009's We Are An Empire My Dear (Night Danger). In that time the band toured across Canada and Europe, saw their single "Model Homes" playlisted on BBC Two, and their song "Paper Thin" featured on BBC One. Tracks from the LP were also featured in various films and television shows, including NBC's The Office.
During the sessions that spawned "Destroy," In-Flight Safety recorded and then shelved an album's worth of material as they strove to steer their writing in a new direction. The songs that took hold offered a joyful clarity. Developed with the group's gripping live show in mind, "Destroy" sees In-Flight Safety reach new levels of intensity and abandon.
