NEWS: New single from Montreal's, City Streets

Check out the first track from City Street's forthcoming album, Pretenders, which features Garrett Craigs of Whiskeyface on guitar.

Pretenders will be the band's 6th LP and was produced by Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung) at the Hive Creative Labs in Vancouver.  

"White Lies' is a song about the darkest side of Canadian history. The Catholic church-run residential school system in Canada oppressed and degraded First Nations people for over 100 years. The Harper government has been undermining progress for troubled communities since he took office. There are places in Canada that look like war zones in developing countries. These stories need to be told so something can change".
