NEWS: FIRExFIRE debuts new EP, "Ashes" & heads out on the road...

This muscular, synth-heavy, power-pop band has been described as “described as a fight between decades” with influences from Phoenix, The Strokes, and Depeche Mode. They’ve headlined spots at major clubs such as the Mod Club and Horseshoe Tavern, and have played hotly reviewed performances at festivals like CMW and NXNE. The debut single “We Didn’t Know” from their last album is still currently in rotation on MuchMusic, and reached #2 on the Daily Video Countdown on Aux TV. Of the song, Alan Cross said “There’s something of a power to this - a little like lift-off”, and TorontoMusicScene said the band was “The greatest NXNE find thus far” in 2012. The lead track "I Got Time" off the band's last album was also just nominated as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.
