VIDEO: The Daredevil Christopher Wright debut new video

Eau-Claire, Wisconsin trio The Daredevil Christopher Wright debut their new video for Pale Horse, Pale Rider exclusively with renowned french blog, La Blogotheque.

Playing with Cold War-era PSA footage The Daredevil Christopher Wright would have you believe the way to survive a nuclear attack is by engaging in a little bit of interpretive dance.

The Daredevil Christopher Wright released their sophomore album The Nature of Things in North America this past June via Vancouver-based label File Under:Music.

The trio (comprised of brothers Jon and Jason Sunde and friend Jesse Edgington) use their voices to create complex three part harmonies that act as an additional instrument throughout the record.

Their first full length album In Deference to a Broken Back (mixed by Eau Claire friend Justin Vernon of Bon Iver) was released in 2009. It was an expansive and collaborative effort which enlisted the help of a large group of friends and fellow musicians. With The Nature of Things they scaled back. "We made an intentional effort to focus and tighten the writing. To try to confine the arrangements to elements that the three of us could perform," says Jon Sunde. Recorded by Patrick Stolley, founding engineer of the celebrated music blog DaytrotterThe Nature of Things is an album that reflects simplicity.
