TOY’s much anticipated self-titled debut album, heralded by Mojo as ‘British Alt Rock’s finest debut of 2012, will be released by Heavenly Recordings / Cooperative Music on September 11th. Toy have made many fans amongst the British press, while drawing comparisons to Ride, contemporaries The Horrors and the cream of the krautrock canon.

The album will be preceded by the release of a new single, Lose My Way the video to which you can check out below.
The 7” single, features the B-Side Bright White Shimmering Sun, a live favorite which does not appear on the album.
Both tracks were recorded during the spring of 2012 with Dan Carey in his South London studio as part of the album sessions.
The
band recently played at this year’s Field Day Festival; supported
Primal Scream on a number of Scottish dates; and have played various
festival dates over the summer including the Reading & Leeds
weekender and End Of The Road. TOY complete the year’s UK festival run
with Bestival and Festival No. 6 in Portmerion.
