NEWS: GREAT LAKE SWIMMERS UNVEIL NEW VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK & BRING "NEW WILD EVERYWHERE" ON TOUR
This week, Toronto’s Great Lake Swimmers celebrated the debut of their fifth studio album, New Wild Everywhere, by premiering a brand new video for the album’s title track with The Globe And Mail (http://bit.ly/HYwOwF). Set
on Toronto Island, it is directed by Adam Makarenko, who hand crafted a
miniature city of Toronto and used CGI technology to add impressive
visual effects that showed the city being brought to life and reclaimed
by nature.
The band is also celebrating a career high SoundScan debut this week, landing at #33 on the Top Albums Overall Chart, #11 on the Alternative Albums Chart and #17 on the Digital Overall Albums Chart.

Lake Swimmers have performed at CBC Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio and in
front of the Beluga Whales at The Vancouver Aquarium in the weeks
leading up to the release of New Wild Everywhere. Tonight they kick off
the European leg of their major tour in London before heading back to North America on May 1 for their first U.S. date in Chicago (with Cold Specks). Full tour dates are below.
