NEWS: Rose Cousins Debuts Short Film "If I Should Fall Behind" Prepares For "We Have Made A Spark" Release & Tour Dates

Yesterday, award winning Halifax singer-songwriter Rose Cousins debuted “If I Should Fall Behind” on CBC Music.  The short film tells a story of a unique Boston music community that welcomed Halifax songwriter Rose Cousins as she made her third full length album,  We Have Made A Spark.  Gathering her friends and collaborators Zachariah Hickman (producer) and Austin Nevins (who both play in Josh Ritter's Royal City Band), songwriters Rose Polenzani, Kris Delmhorst, Mark Erelli, Jennifer Kimball, Laura Cortese, Amy Correia, Ana Egge, Edie Carey, members of Session Americana Billy Beard & Dinty Child, and multi-instrumentalists Sean Staples and Charlie Rose together at the well-known American studio Q Division (James Taylor, Aimee Mann, Patty Griffin) a tale about the heart of the community where the record was made unfolds.

"I'm lucky to have become part of a community of professional musicians based in Boston who play & record music together on a very regular basis. A true musical family.  My influences brought me to Boston and with great fortune, I fell in with the right gang.  Making a film to go along with my new record WE HAVE MADE A SPARK felt like an opportunity to share a glimpse into this community, to show the places and faces that have been significant to my musical journey."

With the release date of We Have Made A Spark less than a week away, Rose Cousins is preparing to take her new album on the road. Outside Music will release We Have Made A Spark on February 28th and the album is now available for pre-order. Tour dates are listed below.
