NEWS: Rich Aucoin Announces Shows In Amsterdam, Iceland, Canada & The U.S. As The Video For "It" Continues To Gather Momentum

After bringing his all-inclusive electro-pop dance explosion to the Iceland Airwaves Festival, selling out an already legendary show at St. Matthews Church during Halifax Pop Explosion, hitting the western Canadian road with Arkells, appearing at the Electronika Festival in Brazil, and just completing a central Canadian tour in support of Lights, Rich is now back home in Halifax. But not for long. He will be bringing his carnival spectacle of a live show to Amsterdam, Iceland, Central Canada and The U.S. in the next few weeks. In the meantime you can watch Rich on Hockey Night In Canada’s Game Day on CBC at 5 PM on January 7^th.

Since Rich Aucoin released the debut video from his new album “We’re All Dying To Live” two weeks ago, it has gone on to be called the # 1 Canadian video of the year by exclaim! as well as hitting Paste Magazine’s year end list and being added to AUX TV, Much Music, Much More Music, MTV 2 and Musique Plus.

Directed by Noah Pink and produced by Shut Up & Colour Pictures, the video for “It” is a time travelling homage to film and the magic it has to bring us back to a time and a place specific only to our individual selves. Each scene has been  recreated as accurately as possible with subtle and not so subtle twists that add classic elements to Rich Aucoin’s electric and eclectic live show.
