Kalle Mattson - Thick As Thieves (Official Video) from Kevin Parry on Vimeo.

On November 15th, the video was added to one of the world's largest cartoon sites at which lead to Vimeo picking up the video as a "Video We Like" on their front page. Since then, the video has been added to Reddit, Buzzfeed, Digg,,, Huffington Post, Daily What and has been posted by countless blogs, including most recently one for the CBS News. Interest in South America and Spain picked up after the popular Spanish blog wrote about the video, which lead to it being added to the video section for Yahoo Espanol, Canada, and USA!

The video, which cost the band $250 in materials to make, was created by band high school friend Kevin Parry. In it, the history of the world is depicted in 3 minutes and 30 seconds using stop motion animation. All of the characters in the video are made of cut pieces of paper, and the background is made of fabric that the band got from Salvation Army. The concept for the video was settled upon in September of 2010, and Kevin and his team worked on it for the next six months, finally debuting the video in May of 2011.

The band, in light of all of this, are presently allowing free downloads of their album "Anchors" .

Anchors was mixed by Howie Beck (Feist, Jason Collett, Hayden, Josh Rouse, etc) and mastered in Los Angeles at the legendary Bernie Grudman Studios (Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, U2. The Band, Van Morrison, etc).
