NEWS: SONIC CONCERTS & MUCHMUSIC PRESENT CITY AND COLOUR IN ATLANTIC CANADA, FEB 20-25

City and Colour is returning to Atlantic Canada in support of Little Hell, the 3rd studio album from Dallas Green (Dine Alone Records). This is part of City and Colour’s first major national tour since 2008, which sold-out across the country and comes off the heels of an extensive international run.  Dates include:

Feb. 20              Halifax             Rebecca Cohn Auditorium
Feb. 22              Fredericton     The Playhouse
Feb. 23              Saint John       The Imperial
Feb. 25              St. John’s        Mile One Centre (theatre set up)

Pre-sale begins, Tuesday, September 27 at 10AM local time in each city and runs until Thursday, September 29 (except in Fredericton where it ends on Wednesday, September 28), while pre-sale quantities last.  Fans will be able to purchase tickets, during the pre-sale, directly from cityandcolour.ca/tour.  Tickets will be available to purchase on their own or with added bonus items including an 18 x 24 screen-printed tour poster designed by Munk One (munkone.com), and a 10" limited edition vinyl. The 10" features a live version of "Sometimes (I Wish)" on side A and two unreleased covers on side B.  The Canadian colour variant is purple and limited to a pressing of 700 copies. It is the 3rd and final colour in a three colour set (black, green, purple) which were also sold as part of the USA, UK and European tour presale.

Little Hell debuted at #1 on the Top 200 SoundScan Chart in Canada, garnering a 3rd Gold Record nod for City and Colour, who has earned Platinum awards for debut album Sometimes (2005), and sophomore album Bring Me Your Love (2008). The album also debuted at #2 in Australia and #28 in the U.S. and top 40 in the UK.

Joining City and Colour on the Canadian run is The Low Anthem (except St. John’s), an indie-folk quartet hailing from Providence, Rhode Island lauded for their dynamic live shows and incredible multi-instrumentalism.
