Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah Slean is returning to Halifax for two intimate solo shows in support of her latest release Land & Sea at The Carleton in Halifax, Dec. 4 and 5 at 9 p.m.
Named "one of the most compelling acts Canada has to offer" by TIME Magazine, Slean’s 12+ year career has included six albums, she starred in short films and a movie musical, published two volumes of poetry, held exhibitions of her paintings and shared the stage wit four of the country’s leading orchestras. She is a two-time Gemini Award and three-time JUNO Award nominee and her albums have been released in 10 countries. Sarah has recently completed a degree in music and philosophy at the University of Toronto.
Released on Sept. 27 as a double album package online and vinyl, Slean’s latest Land & Sea is 18 tracks over the two parts and is already receiving critical acclaim.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 day of show (including tax) PLUS service charge and go on sale this Friday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m., exclusively at www.sonicconcerts.com.
