September 30, 2011, Dana Beeler releases debut EP with special guests, Mo Kenney, Luke Levy, and Jacob Noonan at The Company House.

Dana Beeler (Halifax, NS) is preparing to release her debut EP “The Other Side Of Love” later this month, marking her transition from bluegrass band-mate to singer-songwriter (with a hint of the blues). Beeler is set to officially release the EP on September 30th at The Company House on 2202 Gottingen Street, Halifax. The EP release will be met by a grand party featuring talented local musicians Luke Levy & Jacob Noonan opening the night. Special guests Mo Kenney (a good friend and captivating singer-songwriter) and Dana’s father of Grassworks Bluegrass Band, will accompany Beeler on stage throughout the night.

Dana’s self recorded and produced EP tells tales of love, loss and lust. “I picked these songs because they are the closest to my heart.” Dana says of the EP; “They depict a time in my life where I wore my heart on my sleeve, all the while building a house of cards around myself.”  “The Other Side of Love” is at the same time heartbreaking and hopeful, and is sure to pluck the heartstrings of listeners. A preview of “The Other Side Of Love” can be found here: http://danabeeler.bandcamp.com/album/the-other-side-of-love. Physical copies of the EP will be available at the release party.
