(Moncton, NB - June 30, 2011) - The TBA Collective is proud to announce the full list of bands performing at this year’s Messtival, an outdoor music festival taking place on Saturday, August 13th, 2011, in Anagance, NB. Organized by TBA, a non-profit cooperative, Messtival is an all-day, all-night music concert coupled with a psychedelic light show, live art and art exhibits, multimedia performances, lazer tag, yoga, facepainting, food and overnight camping under a full moon. The gates open at 1 p.m., with music getting underway at 2 p.m. trailing off into the night.

Twenty bands from around the Maritimes, along with a group of performers from Toronto, are featured on the sonically diverse line-up: New Brunswick artists include Vivianne Roy, Ghostown Belle, The Nuclear, Hospital Grade, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, Something Delicious, The Rhythm Section, Phil Flowers, The BackYard Devils, Force Fields, and The Divorcees. Other performers include Nerd Army, a video-game enthused rock band from Halifax; The Caravan, a Nova Scotia hip-hop/jazz group; INSTRUMENTS, Kuato, Garbageface, Tiny & The Mountain, Right on Yukon, Acorn Rangers and No Flyers Please.

Advance tickets, available until the day of the concert, will be $30, while tickets at the door will be $40. Messtival, reputed for its volunteer-driven approach and intimate settings, has a maximum capacity of 400 attendees. Directions to the festivities are posted on each ticket.

This year, on a property that is run entirely off-the-grid, Messtival will be partially powered by wind and solar energy. The festival will unveil a 30’ x 40’ stage garnered with 26’ tall arches as well as a live art mural that, without a doubt, will impress the eyes of attendees. Printing for Messtival is proudly sponsored by Broken Coast Media Group.
