BRAIDS plays in Paintball rink and has a slew of upcoming shows

Braids took a break from their intensive touring schedule to record a live track from their critically-praised debut “Native Speaker”. Already topping early Polaris-prize long list leaks, the album has brought considerable praise to the young band based in Montreal-via-Calgary. Now you can see them play “Plath Heart” in a paintball gym more accustomed to testosterone-blowing firefights than atmospheric rapture. Somehow the oddly beautiful paint splattered setting fits perfectly.
