NEWS: Giant Hand releases Starting As People on March 15

After viewing The Devil and Daniel Johnston for the first time, Kirk Ramsey was so inspired that he picked up a guitar and began teaching himself to play. Just over a year later he had adopted the name Giant Hand, released his acclaimed debut album, Coming Home, and found himself opening for acts such as Handsome Furs, Timber Timbre, Ohbijou and even Daniel Johnston himself.  

 

Now, he has returned with Starting As People. Recorded with The Acorn's Rolf Klausener, the EP's six songs show Ramsey's immesense growth as an artist and only give further validity to Exclaim's early boast that Coming Home, "...might spell out the beginnings of a brilliant career.”
