News: Dog Day releases The Scratches EP on March 22 and announces US dates

Halifax gloom popsters Dog Day are returning to the road this March in support of their upcoming 7", The Scratches EP. Made up of partners Seth Smith and Nancy Urich, the duo will perform a series of dates in California before heading to Austin, Texas to showcase at the 2011 South by Southwest Festival.

Dog Day's new songs point back to the sound of their minimal, pop-punk debut, Thank You (Divorce | 2007). The Scratches EP (March 22 | Noyes Records) offers the first glimpse of this new evolution of the band that the Toronto Star called "...the most exciting Canadian act of the moment." Their new LP is set for release in the spring of 2011.
