NEWS: RAH RAH - North American Tour Dates, "Prairie Girl" To Radio, SXSW & CMW Plays This March
Rah Rah, Regina, Saskatchewan’s expansive rock collective will take to the road once again, confirming a handful of U.S. shows supporting Minus The Bear and an extensive run of North American dates with Two Hours Traffic. Beginning in February through to mid-April, the dates stretch close to 30 shows in both Canada and the U.S. Rah Rah will also play both SXSW and CMW music festivals in March.

Rah Rah released their third album, The Poet’s Dead (Hidden Pony Records) digitally on October 2, 2012 and physically on October 22, 2012. The 10 track full-length saw single “Prairie Girl” as a Starbuck’s Pick Of The Week, and the record was championed by iTunes Canada, Nylon Magazine, Fader, Exclaim and host of other critical tastemaker press.
“Prairie Girl”
will be serviced to radio in Canada on January 28. “Sometimes I feel
like I have two identities. The shy, prairie girl (modest and quiet) and
the raging twenty-something (angry with everything, especially myself).
These lyrics are about what happens when those two personalities dwell
in the same crazy young woman,” said Erin Passmore, songwriter and
vocalist for the song.
