With performance spots at CMW, JUNOfest, NXNE and Bluesfest under their belts, Quebec indie rockers The Strain are eager to get out on the road. The group will be touring Canada this winter in support of their recent EP, Hush Hush, kicking things off in Charlottetown, PEI on January 16, 2013 (dates listed below). 

Growing up in Wakefield, QC, David and Rylee Taggart, and their cousin Alex Serre, watched their parents play music at family get-togethers. Finally, the time came when they too picked up some instruments and, along with their childhood friend, Nick Johnston, they created The Strain.

Since forming in late 2010, the band has produced two EPs, Three Sheets to the Windand their latest offering, Hush Hush. In October 2012, The Strain won the LiVE 88.5FM (Newcap Radio) BIG MONEY SHOT ( in Ottawa, ON.
