Great Lake Swimmers recently returned home after a successful 50 + date international tour in support of “New Wild Everywhere” and now they get ready to hit the Canadian road once again in September after heading south for dates with Patrick Watson. They play in Halifax on September 27 at Spatz Theatre.

Watch Great Lake Swimmers perform at Edmonton’s McDougall United Church:

Great Lake Swimmers performed at CBC Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio and in front of the Beluga Whales at The Vancouver Aquarium in the weeks leading up to the April 4th release of “New Wild Everywhere”. They then celebrated a career high soundscan (#33) on the top albums chart, became X3 Artists Of The Month, saw two of their songs hit # 1 on CBC Radio 3, spent 4 weeks at # 1 on !earshot’s national roots music chart, released two videos and hit the road. By the time the band came home for their sold out show at The Music Hall in early June, they had played over 40 shows across Europe and North America. Great Lake Swimmers then lit out for the summer music festival road for another dozen shows. They returned home on August 18 to perform at The Molson Canadian Amphitheater with Blue Rodeo before heading out for another round of North American dates in September and October.
