5th Anniversary Tunes at Noon Summer Concert Series Announces 2012 Line-Up
Halifax, NS, July 6, 2012 – Councillor Dawn Sloane, Downtown Halifax
Business Commission, Centre for Arts and Technology and Halifax Regional
Municipality, in association with Music Nova Scotia, present Tunes at
Noon, an annual summer concert series featuring Nova Scotian performers
of all genres of music. Tunes at Noon will take place every Thursday and
Friday at 12:00 Noon – 1:00 pm in Grand Parade in Halifax from July 19
to September 6, 2012.
"Tunes at Noon has supported the local music scene for the past five
years and enabled Grand Parade to be a destination for visitors and
locals alike to sit, eat lunch, and listen to some fantastic talent,”
said Councillor Dawn Sloane. “People look forward to this summertime
event every year and I am proud to be a part of this great initiative
with our partners.”
