Having just celebrated a nomination in the New Group Of The Year category for the 2012 JUNO Awards, Hey Rosetta! confirm they will also be performing live from Ottawa on the CTV-televised JUNO Awards broadcast on Sunday April 1. It’s been a year of highlights for the band, and acknowledgement of their exquisitely crafted third album Seeds, which saw short listing for the Polaris Music Prize, the group nominated for two Casby Awards and four recently announced ECMA nominations; Entertainer of the Year, Video of the Year, Album of the Year and Group of the Year.

Hey Rosetta! present their newest video for Seeds track “New Sum (Nous Sommes)” directed by Jesse Davidge and produced by Blatant Studios, an award-winning creative production studio located in Vancouver and specializing in animation and motion-graphics. Much of the footage for this uniquely animated video was shot at the band's sold out Commodore show during the ‘Yer Fall’ tour of late 2011.

Hey Rosetta! is currently on a substantial U.S. tour that kicked off last week in Las Vegas. The majority of the dates will be with award-winning UK band, Gomez, and the tour coincides with the re-release of Seeds on ATO Records in the U.S. Available at iTunes is the Sing Sing Sessions, an EP selection of acoustic tracks from Seeds recorded when the band was on tour in Australia last fall. http://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/sing-sing-sessions-ep/id498994797
