NEWS: Sonic Concerts Presents KEVIN SMITH & SCOTT MOSIER’s 200th SMODCAST LIVE in HALIFAX, Feb. 3

 
After sold out appearances in November and December, Kevin Smith is returning to Halifax and bringing long-time friend, business partner and co-host Scott Mosier to celebrate their 200th Smodcast with a live performance at The Spatz Theatre on Friday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m.

A regular feature on SIR, Smodcast Internet Radio, Smith and Mosier’s podcast is one of a variety of projects that the pair has worked on over the years.  Originally meeting in film school, the two have gone on to collaborate on multiple projects, including “Clerks,” “Mallrats,”  and “Zack and Miri Make A Porno,”

Considered among many as a multimedia cult icon, Smith is known for his reoccurring role Silent Bob in “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” “Dogma,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” and “Clerks 2,” With a number of critically acclaimed hit movies, Smith has spent almost two decades infiltrating the entertainment industry on almost every level with his company View Askew Productions.  Most recently he released the independent horror movie Red State featuring John Goodman.  He has also written a series of comics, books and is currently serving as executive producer for an upcoming reality show on AMC called “Comic Men” revolving around the life and culture of comic book stores.
