NEWS: Bry Webb announces intimate performance dates + two new videos

"It is the blue-collar poetry of Provider which should cement Bry Webb's legacy as one of Canada's greatest songwriters." - PopMatters

Fans were introduced to Constantines' frontman Bry Webb as a solo artist this fall when he opened for Feist on her Canadian tour, playing songs from his debut solo album Provider, released on Toronto imprint Idée Fixe Records. This February, Bry brings these personal songs to more intimate venues across his home province of Ontario.

Critics and fans alike were instantly drawn to Bry's subtle and honest songwriting, Exclaim Magazine saying "Provider moans with the stuff of life -- fatherhood, working full-time, joy, death -- and it's one of the most mesmerizing things any songwriter can lay claim to in recent memory." The Toronto Star called it "a work of stunning elegance, restraint and confidence."

Bry recently filmed a Southern Souls session at his home in Guelph, Ontario, featuring an unreleased cover of Burl Ives' "Sad Man's Songs" and "Viva" from Provider. The videos mirror the sincerity of the songs; a song strummed during quiet moment at home with Bry's son Asa playing in the background.
