NEWS: SONIC CONCERTS presents An Evening with Kevin Smith in Halifax, Nov. 7

Writer, director, filmmaker, actor and multimedia cult icon Kevin Smith is bringing his live show to Halifax for a special two hour speaking engagement and question and answer session, as seen on the An Evening With Kevin Smith DVD, at the Spatz Theatre (Citadel High) on Monday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m.

Entertainment Weekly said, “…Lewd, crude, and often hysterical -- just like a Kevin Smith flick.”

With a number of critically-acclaimed hit movies, including Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, among others, Smith has spent almost two decades infiltrating the entertainment industry on almost every level with his company View Askew Productions.  Most recently he released the independent horror movie Red State featuring John Goodman.  The film will be screened in Halifax on September 29.  For details, visit: http://coopersdell.com/redstateca/

Along with his films, many of which he starred in as one half of the dynamic duo Jay and Silent Bob, he has written a series of comics, interviewed celebrities for a variety of media outlets and now hosts a regular podcast entitled SIR SModcast Internet Radio with long time friend and business partner Scott Mosier.
